About Me

I am a psychology student, living in Bremen in the north of Germany. Like most people on CS I love breaking the routine while travelling and meeting all sorts of open minded people from all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I generally prefer love low budget travelling including CS and hitch-hiking not only because it saves money, but also because travelling becomes more unpredictable. It makes me feel more an adventurous traveler instead of a mere consuming tourist and offers unique opportunities of making friends by almost randomly getting in touch with awesome people all over the world.
Also I love the mindset of hospitality and trust within the community, enabling real cultural exchange across nations and making the world grow together more every day :)

Interests

I am always eager to learn and try new things of all sorts. So if you have something cool to do, teach or talk about please go ahead!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hitchhiking from Portugal to Bremen within 3 days. That was a lot of stress but also exciting!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty good at diabolo, although I played it too much as a child and find it a bit boring now.
Also I play guitar and ukulele. Rather campfire guitarist level. Not as good as I'd like to play, but I still love it. So either I can teach you or the other way around!
Also I can teach you basic juggling skills, I have a slackline we could practice together or devil sticks.
Or cooking. I love my own food, but still I find myself cooking with a routine more or less. Consequently, revealing your super secret cooking recipes and cooking techniques would be great and in return I might show you how to boil an egg. My mom always used to say 'Liebe geht durch den Magen' kind of meaning 'Love goes through the stomach'. Looking back on my life so far I find that most sayings sound smart because they rhyme while still being stupid. This one however seems very true to me. Meaning that if you really want to make me happy and instantaneously buy my friendship and everlasting loyalty (no exaggeration) just cook me your favorite meal or bring me something typical to eat from your home country. No pressure 'though. I'll host you still if you don't.

About languages: My mom is dutch so I was raised bilingually I could teach you that or German the best. Languages I'd love to learn would be Spanish - I am kind of fluent but I would like to improve it - and French I have been learning since three months with Duolingo now but without any practical experience. Also I had Norwegian classes during my Erasmus there, although I wouldn`t dare to say I speak it.
Anyway if you have anything else cool to teach or something you`d like to learn go ahead!
