My name is David, I am 29 years old, and I’ve been living in Townsville for 4 years. I’m originally from Noosa, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland but left home at 16 to attend university in Canberra where I studied Aerospace Engineering.

I followed these studies up with training to become a helicopter pilot, which I now do full time in a number of countries.

I love the diversity of Townsville and the revolving door of travellers and want the opportunity to meet new and interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want the opportunity to meet new people from different backgrounds and expand my view of the world. I also like the idea of being able to help someone out and provide accomodation during their time in Townsville.

As per the list, I have spent my life playing different sports, but I equally love the opportunity to sit down, relax, and enjoy a good meal and a glass of wine.
