Hey! I'm David. Currently traveling with my fiancée, Lexie. We quit our jobs in March 2022 to fulfill our dream of traveling full time for a year. We plan to spend the summer in Europe, then will head to Asia for the fall/winter.

Right now we are traveling by bike- cycling along the Danube River, starting in Bavaria and heading towards Budapest. We then plan to cycle through Slovenia and Croatia.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I enjoy couchsurfing in order to gain local, honest perspectives of the places that I visit. It also helps to keep our costs down as we are traveling on a tight budget this year. It’s also a good way to cut down on some impact to the environment!

While we don't have a permanent address right now, once we are settled again in the US we hope to open our own home to other couchsurfers to repay the kindness we've received as we've been traveling this year and to share our own perspective on our hometown!

I’ve grown up around beer (my parents have a brewery), so I love trying and learning more about beer! I also love football (soccer) and I am a Liverpool supporter. I love most outdoor activities though, lots of cycling and running, but love most sports as well!
