About Me

I love the outdoors. Mountain biking is my current passion. I am learning to kite surf, although I may always be a beginner. I love to travel and have been all over Central America. It's time to explore more of the USA. I have been on a spiritual quest for as long as I can remember. Jesus is alright with me. All other paths are more than interesting as well. I always try to keep an open mind and an open heart. Shalom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I can afford a hotel and may someday buy a travel trailer, ( The early Toyota Chinooks are so cool! ) couch surfing seems to be a great way to meet interesting people. I am planning on selling the tie dyed shirts we make in the SF bay area and a warm bed in a real house would be sweet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learning to kite surf has been amazing. And challenging. To learn, I have been to Nicaragua, Belize, Mexico 3 times and Antigua.

Teach, Learn, Share

At one time I wanted to study "appropriate technology". I still want to learn all the skills that we modern folk have lost. Heating and cooling with passive solar energy, building an energy efficient dwelling, gardening, preserving food, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share whatever I have. Whatever you might need.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
