I'm an aspiring vegan chef, caretaker for people with special needs and competitive gamer. My interests are way too varied to summarize here but I can say that I'm constantly attracted to all things unique, eccentric and visceral. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm finally getting a few signs of financial stability in my life so I'm trying to travel whenever the opportunity arises. I plan on visiting friends and family throughout the US(and eventually internationally), as well as attending some different festivals, tournaments and random events. Finding people to stay and hang out with of course makes my life easier! While unfortunately I can't host here in NYC yet, I am quite willing to show people around in the NYC area!

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, while various genres of Metal and Punk all hold a special place in my heart, I often find myself loving music from all kinds of genres like shoegaze, techno and hip hop.

When it comes to movies I prefer well thought out horror and independent films but can occasionally enjoy a big blockbuster flick like the currently popular Superhero films.

As far as novels, I still need to check out many ones I know I'd love but I've always been a big fan of Sci Fi in the vein of Ender's Game and 1984, and I'm currently enjoying a few works by Haruki Murakami.
