I was brought up on Lighthouse Stations around Tasmania & Victoria and have been travelling most of my Life. Lived in Portland for last 22 years and during that time have travelled to India, Egypt, Thailand, USA, UK, Hong Kong, Malaysia and China. I have set up resorts in Queensland, also promoted Ashton's Circus between Victoria to Perth and back. Learnt to Fly and set up an Aero Club in Jabiru NT. Most of my life has been adventurous and still is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had lots of Overseas friends visit and they use Couch Surfer a lot and I thought I would offer the same service and help repay some of the kind services I have received on my travels.

Interests

I have done so many things, a shorter list would be what haven't I done. My interests vary from all forms of travel I have covered Australia on Motorbikes on road and off road, I have Sailed quite a bit of the Australian coastline South Pacific and New Zealand even came 2nd in the Sydney to Hobart yacht race, I have also done a lot of Cycling me and a friend road up the East Coast of the USA. I am also into Computers Free WiFi at my place as well, Video work, Photography,etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left Australia with $200.00 and spent 3 years travelling around the world and when I came back I had exactly $200.00 in my Wallet.
Came 2nd on a New Zealand yacht in the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race.
Road a Royal Enfield in India to the highest drive-able road in the world 5,602 Metres.
It took me 2 parachutes to complete my first Skydive.
