Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Grow, learn, pull the weeds, and nurture the seeds.
ABOUT ME
I am a story teller. This is the only constant in my life. I started telling stories by drawing pictures, then by writing, then by making music, then by making movies, and now, all of the above. I hope to find new stories to tell and new ways to tell them until the day I die.
PHILOSOPHY
The balance between creation and destruction is the essence of life, and as living things, we can't help but participate in both. When you are conscious of this, you can choose how you participate.
What sets humans apart is the ability (and necessity) to constantly imagine a reality different than the one they are in. So imagine better a better one.
Fear and love are opposites. Love keeps fear from destroying wonder, but fear keeps love from being as wonderful as it can be. Love is the sword with which fear is conquered.
Everything is funny until someone takes it seriously.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I teach what I've learned and I ask to be taught! I like to feed people with any food I have, literally and/or metaphorically.
I hope to show my world to many and be welcomed to the worlds of others.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Plenty of travelling and ending up on the couches, beds, floors, etc. of friends I make in different places. And my own couches have been home to many.
Interests
New ideas, new philosophies, new ways of experiencing life, new skills. Anything that expands me as a person or makes my journey a fuller one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know where to start.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've had unique, challenging, and enlightening experiences with death. I'm not sure what I can teach from them, but I'm happy to tell my stories and let people take what lessons they want.
I can play guitar and make movies, so I could teach those. I can make jewelry. I can fix some things. I know how to make popovers and chocolate mousse.
I'd like to learn to sail.
