CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I made my final degree in fine arts nearly four years ago and finally I am working as a Berlin based painter plus sculpture in a shared studio with one of my best friends with whom I studied. I opted for Berlin as a place to work in since the town after all has one of the largest artist communities in Europe, in other words there are lots of opportunities to get to know other very creative people.

PHILOSOPHY

I cannot say that I have or even support a philosophy, but I can assume to follow certain principles, these are, for instance, the principle of charity, that chiefly entails taking your time to reflect one's thoughts by ideally omitting prejudices. It's like reading a text that you do not put aside after the first two sentences but rather reading​ and conceiving it almost totally before you make a judgement. Sounds ideal, but if we talk about philosophy we do reflect ideals and how to bring them together with or rather integrate them in social reality.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

For me couchsurfing appears to be the very best way of travelling, just because you get to know so many people/locals, occasions, that you're unlike to stumble upon when you are just booking well-served all-inclusive tours, I think.

兴趣

I wish I would have more time to maintain my interests. I am really looking forward to become a good jazz guitarist(!) and maybe even a recognised artist.

Furthermore I'd like to speak more languages like French and Spanish; my Italian is pretty okay, but I still need more practice! I am very interested in French philosophers like Foucault and Lacan (for me he's a philosopher), only my French doesn't yet suffice for reading their original texts...

Ah, and I hope to discover nice and open-minded people out there during my proposed travels! I really love chatting, discussing and joking 😇 chiefly while drinking and sharing a good 🍷 - cincin!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Amalfi Coast, where I jumped off a clip into the emrald-green water. Now that was fantastic! (Unfortunately I got a headache after that, cause I wasn't well prepared and my very first time jumping off a 7m high cliff - at least for me it has been quite high).

Just ask me, if you want me to show you some chords on the guitar for I have been playing it for nearly 10 years. Though there have been several longer interruptions during that period I still love playing and teaching some bluesy tunes.

I know many hotspots in Berlin where you can stay and enjoy your time the whole night through - not a club experts, but of bars, pubs and so on 😇
