Grind out the next two years at varsity so I can graduate with my masters. Travel will have to take a back seat :(
I'm probably the most laid back person you'd ever meet! I love going the flow because things generally tend to work out. I love dancing and partying, making bad jokes, making GREAT jokes, and essentially hanging out with people I like. I don't mind if it's at a crazy nightclub or a quiet day at a park - everything has a time and place.
Do what makes you happy. Not to the exclusion of all else - be aware of other peoples feelings. Be aware of your surroundings, be sensitive, be good. Be excellent. Take note of peoples expectations of you, and more importantly, the expectations you have of yourself. And when you have done all that, do what makes you happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm interested in showing travelers around the town and showing them a great time! My background in architecture provides me with pretty good knowledge of the city and all the "touristy" things to do, and my background in awesomeness provides me with pretty good knowledge of where and how to party!
Although I didn't intentionally go looking for a couch, I traveled with a friend who IS a couch surfer and we had a great time together. The stories he told me of his own travels and the community here was enough to convince me to join.
I'm a curious person. As such, I do a lot of reading about things that interest me in my spare time. I've been told I "know a lot about stuff", which is as good as I could ever describe myself.
Apart from that, I like to keep active and believe physical activity is important. I've tried all kinds of sports but lately don't find the time to commit to anything, so I've settled for a regular gym routine (kinda fun in its own way).
I'd have to say that above all, I love spending time with people who have a quick mind. There's something amazing about exchanging ideas with people who are passionate about something - whether it's their work, interests, studies or activities.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm currently reading Moby Dick. I think it's time to try the classics!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently traveled overseas for the first time in my life. I wasn't sure what to expect, but nothing could have prepared me for how thoroughly my mind was blown at every step of the way! Two moments stand out clear in my mind however - the first being at the end of a day trip around the islands at Phi Phi. The day ended with a barbecue and party in a secluded private beach where afterwards we swam with luminescent plankton. I remember thinking to myself "Where the f@#$ am I??", in total disbelief that this was real. The other memory was of a personal connection I made during my trip, which in itself was just amazing!
