One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
If I'm using "an awestricken feeling that precedes intense introspection" as a criterion, it's a toss-up between hiking through the Mount Hood National Forest to Trillium Lake, an 80-mile bicycle tour through rural SE Oklahoma, and Hierve el Agua in Oaxaca.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to teach undergraduate courses while a graduate student, so if you're interested in learning about neuroscience or statistics, I've got an excess of resources. I'd also label myself a outdoor and cycling enthusiast (I used to volunteer at a bicycle co-op), photography hobbyist, and amateur musician (guitar, bass, percussion, synthesizer, harmonica), so am always open to teaching to the extent of my abilities--and open to learn of course! In fact, I'm a curious guy and open to learning about most anything you may offer.
