ABOUT ME

Me - Easy-going. I like to laugh, but I'm never really the attention-seeker. I'm always up for a serious discussion, or just a laugh.

Interests

My main interest lies in cinema. I'm fascinated by cinema history: I like to read about my favorite directors (my heroes), see films from all ages and places, and all kinds. I also like to examine how certain movements and genres evolved.
I play the piano. I used to play a lot of classical music, but now I kind of play whatever I feel like. I improvise a lot, occasionally using existing songs as a template, to then do my own thing with it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many movies to just sum up. I prefer listing some directors I like:
Stanley Kubrick, Antonioni, De Palma, Howard Hawks, Hitchcock, Michael Mann, Nicholas Ray, Budd Boetticher, John Ford, Sergio Leone, Fritz Lang, Jean-Luc Godard, William Wyler, and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gaudi's architecture in Barcelona is something I'll never forget.
Big churches like the St. Peter church in the Vatican was really impressive. I got in through the back with a nun that we knew, so we didn't visit it like the other tourists. I saw the the pope's private garden and everything. I was just amazed.
When I was little I went to America with my parents, and although I don't remember much of it (I was 6), I do remember driving through the desert when we went to Las Vegas.
