About Me

CURRENT MISSION

none, just floating

ABOUT ME

At this very moment, I don't know that much about me. Or to look smart and to let Oscar Wilde do the talking: "The only thing that one really knows about human nature is that it changes"
But, as you might be a person willing to invite me to your home, here is a very short crashcurs about me: I'm 23 years old and I'm living in Leipzig, which is a beautiful city in Saxony, Germany. I'd define myself mostly by my interests (see the bunch of letters below). Sometimes I talk a lot (especially when it comes to politics) and sometimes I enjoy silence, music, or listening to other people's talking.

PHILOSOPHY

Something between existentialism, radical constructivism, the works of Karl Marx on the critique of political economy and the Critical Theory of Horkheimer and Adorno... wow, sounds fancy.
My philosophy is not stable - every book I read and every person I meet has the power to change it a little bit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Almost none so far, just a few nights in german towns but I'm willing and planning to change that.

Interests

A constant in my life is my love for music. I love playing the guitar/ukulele and singing. I like concerts, listening and dancing to music. Other interests would be politics (I fight for animal liberation and against any type of human discrimination), bouldering (climbing up to 3m without a rope), I'm a huge fan of movies/cinema and like to enjoy them in company, I'm interested in psychology, which I'm currently studying in Leipzig and in sciences in general. And, to state the obvious, I'm trying to have a colorful life, which includes partying as well as trips in the nature and plain "hanging around". AND COOKING!

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, this could take hours, so I'm only writing down the most recent or most important discoveries.
Music: Jake Bugg, Johnny Flynn, Pretty Lights, OSTs, a few folk punk bands ... lots of folk, electronic music and stoner/psychedelic music in general. And the most obvious ones like The Beatles, Radiohead, ...
Movies: Xavier Dolan, Tarantino, Charlie Kaufman, ... City of God, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Oh Boy, Fight Club, 39,90, .....
Books: Milan Kundera, M. Blecher, Salinger, Hesse, and lots of books on politics, philosophy and psychology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing moments were combinations of music, people and locations. I'm not exactly a specifimaniac.
