About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a relaxed person who enjoys talking about almost anything. I like to be outside, ride my bicycle and take walks. My favorite way to have a conversation is while walking, although its also nice over a few beers at the pub or in my living room! I like to joke around and have fun, I don't take the world too seriously, or I try not to, but I am interested in every aspect of what is going on out there and I can't help keeping myself up to date on current events, even when I am sick of them!
PHILOSOPHY
I like to see different perspectives, take in all the viewpoints, hear every side
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am opening up my spacious living room with its two full futon/couch beds to bring people from around the world to New York City and help them get around, maybe inspire them to try something they wouldn't have thought of.
Interests
Reading interesting books, fiction and non-fiction. 19th Century Russian Novelists, playing piano and organ, lots of Bach. Thinking and learning about science and nature, plants, animals, outdoors. Playing chess, somewhat addicted! Riding bicycle around the city and on long trips. Going to museums and art shows, outdoor gatherings, parades, rallies, demonstrations. A few beers at a cozy bar with some pool!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like most types of music. Especially classical, and especially Bach. I am into lots of music though and I love to hear new stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many great experiences to list, but a lot of them happen very unexpectedly, like turning a corner in some city and walking into the most amazing, out of place house you have ever seen, or meeting a stranger who ends up teaching you some excellent wisdom.
