We are Dago and David Ospina, two brothers from Colombia who have travelled to nearly 30 countries. Starting 2017 we decided to start documenting our travels via Instagram on @dospina_ and opened an account called @colombianotcolumbia where we give travel tips and respond any question people send via inbox hoping for people to get to know a bit more about our country.

As you can probably tell, were proud of being Colombians, so we enjoy cooking some of our typical food for others and teaching people how to dance Salsa Cali Style (Cali is the world capital of salsa) we’re also photography enthusiasts as you can tell from our Instagram accounts, so we can go out and try to capture some nice shots.

We try to travel as much as we can. We have hosted people before who have written through our Instagram accounts, but are still new to couchsurfing. This summer marks our next trip through Morocco, Greece, Turkey and Russia where we hope to meet more locals to get a better view of each country through its people and food.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Rented a car with my brother and drove from Rio de Janeiro to Salvador - Bahia (52 hr drive - 26 to go/26 to come back) in three days to see a world cup match between USA and Belgium in the 16th round. My brother didnt know a word of portuguese and I was yet learning. This lead us to get lost, me making up half of the instructions that we received on the road, the gps shutting down and visits to Vitoria, Vila Velha, Itacare, Buzios and many other cities, to sleep on the road because we couldnt find a hotel nearby, to crash our car and pay an outrageous fee due to brasilian car insurance, get caught in the middle of the independence parade of Salvador and then drive non stop, with the passenger feeding the drive, all the way to Buzios and then to Rio where we dropped our car and flew to Brasilia 10 hours later to go to a quarter final match.
