ABOUT ME
Just published a novel: "The Adoption" based on the lives of kids (now grown up) I worked with in Ethiopia. These days learning ukulele and singing my songs in dives. I've made a lot of shows; "I've been in Hollywood, I've been in Redwood..." and I AM ALWAYS searching for a Heart of Gold. Worked with and wrote for Whoopi Goldberg, founded One Love AIDS/HIV Awareness Theater with street-kids in Ethiopia. Many trips to Ethiopia and Europe to make teach, direct and perform. Homebase. Burlington VT. Lived in Iowa, Quebec, SF, NYC, Western NY, Chicago, Tijuana, Germany. Married to Dana Block. 24 year old daughter who lives on boats in St. Thomas when she's not salmon fishing in Alaska. We live in small apartment in my hometown, Burlington VT. Recently took part-time job directing the Vermont People With AIDS Coalition. Sailed across the Atlantic on a 50 ft sailboat with 3 others two years ago. . I am part of a world-wide community of artists that gets larger the longer I live. Poetry book - My Murder and Other Local News - available on Amazon. Just completed producing and directing a musical about global warming: HOTBALL. Grew up in Vermont and now I'm back; want to be outside more than inside, in the Champlain valley and Green Mountains; hiking, skiing, biking, canoeing, sailing.

PHILOSOPHY

The museum of nature has incredible design....I learn from it daily. You can't get enough of what you don't want. The eye is a menace to clear sight.
