About Me
I'm a happy, easy going and idealistic guy :) I live with my wife Lesia and currently finishing a master's in Cognitive Science. I like spend the rest of my time working on different projects, reading, learning, talking withand meeting new people. I especially enjoy meeting people with different perspectives on the world.
What else do I like to do? I like to go out and see a good concert. I love to meet old friends and to make new ones. I like to write and and play the guitar. I love to hike and camp and to be surrounded by nature. I love to eat a good meal and to drink some good wine ;) I like sports and physical activity. I do my best to be politically and socially active. I love art and cultural events.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing makes it very easy for me to meet a lot of local people while traveling. As a host, it gives me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. A wonderfull experience up to this day, definetly a positive in my life :)
Interests
Literature, science, politics, philosophy, art, history, mythology, cultures, activism and music are topics that allways draw my attention.
I like to talk over a coffee or a beer, read, watch movies, see a concert, go to the theather, take walks, camp, travel and love partying ;)

Many different things, Federico Fellini, Hayao Miyazaki, Akira Kurosawa, Stanley Kubrick, Coen Brothers, Tarantino, are directors that I like.
I sort of wander through various kinds of music. I like rock, trance, techno... I Love portuguese and brazilian music.
I've got a deep passion for literature and it's hard to name favourites, but Jack Kerouac, Charles Bukowski, Hemingway, Hermann Hess, Kafka, Fernando Pessoa, Mikhail Bulgakov, José Saramago, Miguel Torga, António Lobo Antunes, Dostoeyvsky, Albert Camus, Milan Kundera, and Haruki Murakami are authors that I really like.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a very curious person, interested in a lot of subjects and I'm always willing to share what I know. I'd like to learn more of ukranian and french languages, and I'm always interested in learning all kinds of culture and art. I think I can be useful teaching Portuguese, English, Science or playing the guitar. Can cook a couple of portuguese dishes for you too ;)
