ABOUT ME

My friends would tell you that I am a Watercolor Artist and teacher – I work with students who have special needs (ie. have a disability).
I have also been a Personal Trainer at a Health Club and am very health conscious. I exercise regularly and enjoy outdoor activities: hiking, biking, canoeing, camping.. I am also vegan.. for health & environmental reasons, but also because I love animals.
My friends would say that I am outgoing and love to travel and experience a variety of things. I love to meet new people and am social, but I am Not a partier. Ie. I rarely drink alcohol, don’t smoke, don’t do drugs, etc. I like to feel healthy and have energy to explore.
They would tell you that I am artistic and love to paint. I have studied watercolor painting and also Chinese Brush Painting. I also teach art workshops.
They would tell you that I am a kind person with a friendly and easy-going personality. That I am hard working and driven to meet my personal goals, but that I also enjoy simply being in the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. I traveled through 9 countries in 9 weeks a few years ago and Couchsurfed in Greece. Was a great experience. :-)

Interests

I love nature and exploring the outdoors – hiking, climbing, biking, etc. I also enjoy painting, dancing (little Swing/Lindy Hop), traveling, spending time with my family, friends, and my pets.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeling in Oahu, hiking in the Yellow Mountains of China, and visiting the National Parks of Utah.
