ABOUT ME

We are David and Jenny, a married couple that have finally gotten around to living out one of our dreams: to put our "real-world" lives on hiatus, and take a 6 month tour of Europe.

We are (about to be) on a pan-European adventure taking place this spring and summer. Basically, we have taken a leave from work and are flying over to Europe where we will rent a car and meander around Western (and possibly Eastern) Europe from March 7 until sometime in mid-September. The idea is to have a flexible schedule, to take our time, to completely immerse ourselves in the experience, and to try to stay where its warm!

We have lived in Dallas for most of our lives but have travelled extensively in the US and a few times in Europe. We're looking forward to meeting people from all over the world to hear their stories, and use that information to reflect on what we're trying to accomplish on this earth.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to make each moment we live provide meaning and purpose- its challenging sometimes, but at the end of the day all we have is now.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We hosted many wonderful people when we had our house in Dallas- we had a great time with every single person that we have hosted.

We are now looking to use CS to meet up with locals as we pass through their towns. We're looking for advice on what to see, company for a beer or coffee, and of course, a couch to surf every now and then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted a plethora of CSers from all over the globe. Each experience has been 100% positive. All of our guests have been fun and considerate, and all have had unique things about them that I feel really broadens my view on life.

We enjoy travelling (obviously), playing almost any sport, reading, writing, getting together with friends to go camping or out for a drink, playing the Wii, bicycling and running, and anything outdoors.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Got married to a cool person! We got engaged on the Ile de St. Louis in Paris on a perfect night in June 2004 and we haven't stopped believing in and relying on each other since.
