Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I love learning languages and communicating in people in different and new ways. I have a passion for discovering how broad the human experience can be.
ABOUT ME
I love discovering the world through travel, even when the traveling comes to me! Nothing gets me more excited about life than having a cup of coffee or tea (or anything) with someone while we discuss culture and our experiences of the world and what it is to be human. That said, it doesn't have to be so philosophical, either. I just enjoy chatting with new people.
PHILOSOPHY
The key to life is to never stop learning.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I enjoy film as art, so I love anything with meaning behind it, though it doesn't always have to be meaningful.
Music: I especially enjoy bossa nova and French music, as well as artists like Radiohead, Sondre Lerche, Green Day, and countless others.
Video Games: Pokémon, SimCity 4, Halo, The Legend of Zelda, and many others.
Books: All kinds of things! My girlfriend is a writer, and I love to read all kinds of literature.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Helping to build homes for the poor in Guatemala and getting to know the family I was helping.
Teach, Learn, Share
In addition to teaching English, which I love, I know a lot about wine and coffee, and can teach you to make all kinds of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), including one that satisfies a chocolate craving without any chocolate! I can also give piano lessons, or teach how to record and edit your own songs using free software. I also tend to learn a lot of history about wherever I am living, so I can give tours or have long conversations about specific parts of the world.
