ABOUT ME

A seeker at heart, I am eternal adventurer, warm, generous, always wear a big smile, and have a great sense of humour. I see the world through the eyes of an artist, and revel in being alive. I love meeting new people and finding out who they are and what they care about. I grew up on farm in Cape Town that has been in my family for 7 generations.

Last year in October I left all that I knew and loved back home to sail across the Atlantic Ocean from Cape Town to the Caribbean. 42 days and 6000 miles of sea and sky. After an amazing 6 months travelling my way across the Caribbean and Central America, I am now backpacking Europe for the summer and coming to a city near you.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in San Francisco and New York City in 2009, and hosted quite a few people on my couch over the years. While travelling Europe this summer, I'm proud to say that I have not stayed in a single hostel, and have only been couch surfing and staying with friends.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Walked 900km across northern Spain, crossed the Atlantic Ocean in a sailing boat, meditated in the Himalayas, hitch-hiked through Cuba, overlanded southern Africa, swam in the Ganges.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I am a teacher by nature, and if you want to learn how to draw, unlock your creativity, mediate, or do yoga, I will be only be happy to impart what I know.
