About Me

My name is Davide (most people call me David)
and I am an ESG Senior Research Analyst who works for a sustainability company in 5 different languages:

Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, French, and English (I also speak Hindi,* though it is not part of my professional profile).

I live on a regenerative agriculture farm north of Toronto.
In my leisure time I compose low-fi music (I am a polinstrumentalist), host meditation rooms on clubhouse, meditate, read extensively about Early Buddhism and research into Political Economy theories.

***why Hindi? Long story! I spent 7 years and a half in India! 🇮🇳

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As of 2023, I am on Couchsurfing mostly to find a couch to crash on whenever I got to attend special corporate events in Toronto (my work is mostly remote).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

I am ready to teach all I know about Early Buddhist meditation, languages (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, French), and music (piano, acoustic/electric guitar, bass, singing, harmonica). I used to teach music theory and guitar in my native country. Separately, I played music professionally under a manager during my 7 years and a half in India (I graduated in Economics from SRCC, Delhi University, and later I worked at the Consulate General for over 3 years)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am ready to host trustworthy people at my ecovillage (though I will have to ask for permission from the community beforehand)
