Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new friends and get to know places below the surface.
ABOUT ME
I'm an easy-going person who is friendly, considerate, and open to learning new things. I like to be active and travel. I work as an Engineer, am vegan, and enjoy the outdoors.
PHILOSOPHY
I always try to treat other people with respect and not jump to judgement. I derive meaning from relationships with family and friends, and through my experiences. I am driven to do well at most of the things I spend time on and feel best when I am active.
I am also vegan and try to be conscious about contributing positively to the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I first used Couchsurfing on a long trip in Europe to meet people and had great experiences meeting people and being hosted. Unfortunately I haven't used the site much over the past years because of work travel. I will be happy to host travelers, hope to go meet-ups through the site, and hope find hosts on future trips.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As mentioned above, I first used the site while in Europe to meet up with many people, either to get dinner, go on a day trip, or go to a group meet-up.
Interests
I have a lot of interests in being active through cycling/running, rock climbing, downhill skiing, hiking, and frisbee. I love to spend time reading a good book, whether fantasy or non-fiction. I am open to most genres of music, and especially like alternative rock and grunge.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a wide range of music, primarily revolving around alternative rock, grunge, indie, indie-electronic, blues, and jazz. Not as interested in country but I've learned to appreciate it more. In general I like to discover new artists and try out new music.
I also enjoy a wide range of books, fiction and nonfiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am proud to have completed two full marathons and intend to do many more. Recently my dad finished a full iron-man, so it's about time for me to step up my game!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn how to the most out of visiting places and not just be a typical tourist. I am interested in practicing my German.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A safe place to stay for a couple of nights, a friendly atmosphere, a meal or two, and when I am not busy I can try to show you around the area.
