About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Vancouver!!

ABOUT ME

Recently quit a dead end job to relocate my life and live life the way it was meant to be. I just made it around the USA and Canada on a road trip with a friend in our trusty Ford Focus, and grew a snazzy beard in the process (RIP).

I'm now spending some time in Vancouver to live and work so I can carve up the Canadian mountains on my snowboard.

PHILOSOPHY

Take life one day at a time, be who you want to be, and above all - don't worry, be happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS a couple months ago not sure what to expect and just looking for some places to crash but have been having the time of my life since. Have been steadily couchsurfing across North America since May and have met some great people along the way who already feel like old friends.

Now that I'm set up in Vancouver I'm hoping to do a bit of hosting, so looking forward to hearing from you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We heard about CS prior to leaving Perth and decided to see what the deal was. I joined around May 2008 and have been surfing ever since. I've only been a guest so far but I'm looking forward to hosting :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite books of all time are Lord of the Rings and Jurassic Park. Huge fan of war movies, yet I don't like wars really. I like dinosaurs. I've always dreamed of a sequel to Lord of the Rings involving a crack troop of mercenaries from the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've just spent the last 3 months of my life driving and couchsurfing aroud North America. The people I met, places I visited and experiences I shared with all you kind hosts out there I'm sure I'll never forget. To all my hosts that helped me along the way, no matter if it was for a day or a week, it wouldn't have been possible without you! Thanks, and I hope to meet you all again one day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to make a beer can stand on its corner and I can play some pretty cheesy blues guitar riffs. Been working on my musical Opus for 25 years now. I just solved my first Rubik's Cube thanks to YouTube. I'd like to learn some other languages! French, German, Polish and Japanese are some that I'm interested in. Also if you have time you can teach me how to cook new kinds of food.
