I'm open-minded, independent, and love a rich social scene. I am passionate about music, art, theatre, conversation, illustrating, and writing. I enjoy kickboxing, hiking, and surfing. I have just started working as an Assistant Language Teacher in Tokushima, Japan.

I tend to gravitate toward creative, quirky, fun, nature-loving, peaceful people. I prefer kindness over conflict, beauty over brawn, and brains over beauty.

I have been part of the Couchsurfing community for quite some time now, and it remains to be one of the most useful and reliable resources to meet the best kinds of people and discover new places from a locals perspective. It is a constant reminder of the kindness, and love, and overwhelming hospitality that exists in people from all walks of life, from all over the world.

I would like to meet some English speaking locals in Tokushima, and/or locals patient enough to help me learn Japanese.
