About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding a way to incorporate the things that I love, the things that make me, the things that are so powerful in my life that they are almost divisive, the ever-burning embers into mentally, emotionally and financially rewarding life.
ABOUT ME
All my friends say I am 100% unique, but I bet your friends say that, too.
I like watching as a campfire dies down and I like the view of a well lit city from a tall condo's balcony.
I like eating with my hands in the woods and I like being the one that people give the wine list at dinner.
I like winning, especially in sports and I enjoy defeat after I get over it and have time to think about it.
I read as often as I can which is not really as often as I can.
I am a sponge and can rememeber facts I read in passing but also may forget what you just said five minutes ago.
I love to work and I often think of ways in which I wouldn't have to work anymore.
I have a feeling this is the kind of box I will continue to fill in throughout my CouchSurfing experience.
I am open to all questions, ask away...
PHILOSOPHY
Still figuring it out for the most part, but I try not to make quick decisions when I don't have to- the ones made hastily are often the ones that come back to haunt you.
I like to believe that most people are genuinely good, can be trusted and want to help- but I am super careful about those I suspect of being otherwise.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think updating your profile often is a great start. People want to see, read and communicate with you about what's going on and new pictures, text, etc is a great way to keep them coming back. Plus the more often people are using this site and checking in with you the better off the community at large will be- eyeballs in nearly any form as always good for websites.
Also, word-of-mouth is so vitally important. That's how I got here. Tell your friends on other networking sites if you feel they would benefit from CS2.
I also want to be a good host, to really intuit what people want out of visiting in my area and help them get that experience so they are fulfilled.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My friend that introduced me to this site has had numerous couchsurfers stay with her in Miami and I have met most of them. Great people all, except for one incredibly bizarre incident, but we'll leave that be.
I hope to meet many more cool surfers in the near future.
Interests
I am interested in people's gut feeling about certain brands.
I am interested in folk music, indie rock, and any cleverly coined names denoting the blending of the two.
I am interested in the Boston Red Sox, a storied baseball team in the US.
I am interested in world news.
I am interested to know what exactly web 3.o will entail.
I am interested in snowboarding, learning to surf, playing golf, basketball, baseball, learning cricket (just because), soccer, hiking, camping, mountain biking, fly-fishing.
