About Me

I'm always easy going and and love to be chilling. However, I do like to travel, meet new people, share meals and good company.

I am able to sleep anywhere, even standing up (not narcoleptic). It has been a blessing and a curse at times ; )

All things change but one remains the same,
Be thankful for what you have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the idea of CS as a platform to share mind opening ideas and to learn from people from all walks of life. I want to share more in these experiences and contribute as much as I can to one of the biggest experiments in altruistic economics.

So far I've only had great experiences being hosted, one while staying in Quebec City (through a friend's account), and then one when I first landed in London, UK (but received no reference, unfortunately). Most recently we've stayed with some awesome hosts in Vienna while on a short road trip.

I haven't been able to host as yet as I've always lived in a shared house and not with people as open as we are. Excited to take my turn though, and finally have the privilege of hosting once we move to Germany in the new year!

Interests

Discussing the theory of just about anything: physics, technology, history and the future.
It's also nice not to think so much and just play: football(soccer), guitar, pretty much any game is fun when it's not taken too seriously.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some favorite musicians: Neil Young, Arcade Fire, Rudimental, Kid Cudi
I like most music in the right time or place.

Books I can think of right now: Midnight's Children, The Prophet, Jonathon Livingston Seagull
I don't read as much fiction as I'd like.

I like movies by Stanley Kubrick, Wes Anderson, and the Cohen brothers.
Pretty much anything that strays away from a predictable Hollywood formula

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a summer cycling across Canada.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn about pretty much anything.

I'll teach you about whatever I can; crash courses are available.

A good quote I like to borrow from a friend,
"Nothing I have is worth anything unless it can be shared."

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good times. Good discussions. Good company.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sri Lanka, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Hungary, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom
