I'm a 27 year old photographer, surfer and engineer from Wollongong. Very recently caught the travel bug and am very keen to do some exploring. Love the outdoors, healthy home cooked meals and meeting new people from all around the world

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Mostly to meet new people and make a few connections for my Euro trip at the end of the year. I'm visiting iceland (camera in tow) and would love to have a few references to make couch surfing a little easier over there! :)

Explored abandoned train tunnels, photographed the southern lights (Aurora Australis), captured a waterspout on camera, had lightning strike the ground 30m from my car (not so amazing), hiked the grand canyon (ran out of water and nearly died . . . also not so amazing), surfed and rebuilt housing after a tornado in Samoa, surfed under the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, photographed a penguin parade in Victoria, went to a traditional luau in Hawaii and surfed the north shore, skied two seasons in Canada.

I have a passion for photography and the weather (stormchasing in particular although we don't get many storms in Wollongong) and would be more than happy to share my skills and knowledge with anyone! I also know a lot of amazing places to visit around the Illawarra, having photographed almost all of them!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Two couches (one 3 seater and one 2 seater in a lounge room), a double blow up matress in a spare room, tours of some amazing sights in Wollongong (as I'm always out with my camera. These will mostly be weekends and after work hours). The usual facilities including kitchen, bathroom and a laundry with washing machine. Occasional delicious home cooked meals.
