About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find my place in this world with like-minded, spiritually aware, positive and fun people wanting to live a more sustainable life

ABOUT ME

Friendly, kind, helpful, sincere, creative, curious about people, cultures, life..., humorous, conservatively adventurous and alternative in my outlook and philosophy. Love to laugh (British sense of humour -bit dry!) Like my own company (mostly) and love the company of interesting, positive people who love ideas and who are looking forward and contributing in ways both big and small to a fairer and more sustainable world.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in a benevolent, miraculous Universe/God -not religious exactly- bit wary of labels -but try to do my best and live by a simple code of morality while trying to help my fellow travellers on this path through Life. Throughout my life have felt connected to something much greater Increasingly interested in positive thinking and how the negativity of the world effects you if you let it.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many, so much: World Music, Youssou'N'Dour, Gypsy Kings, Van Morrison.
Books - many writers especially humorous ones in particular - Bill Bryson, P.G. Woodehouse, Jerome K. Jerome, Saki. Siddhartha, Conversations with God
Movies - prefer though provoking to reaction provoking. Some favourites: Amelie, Delicatessen, Magnolia, Strictly Ballroom, Dumb and Dumber, Laurel and Hardy, Mr Bean

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Met some wonderful, inspiring people in my time some famous, many unknown - Mother Theresa stands out - and also went to school with Mr Bean. From the sublime to the ridiculous!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have somethings to teach and still much to learn...
Like sharing stories, life experiences, my Scottish cultural roots and history. English (qualified TESOL teacher) Esalen Massage, EFT
Organic gardening, Have been lucky enough to have travelled in over 20 countries -still plenty more to see!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very sorry but because of my limited living space - only having a bed/couch at present - I can only take one person -preferablly male - for just one or two nights maximum.
