About Me

Travel, learn, and explore.

I love learning new things, and sharing my experiences with others. I love swapping stories about travelling and seeing new places, and showing others around the places where I'm at. I also love to cook.

Live. Love. Be Happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Surfing, Hosting.

I've spent so many nights on couches while I moved around the country. It's great to feel supported by your friends, both old and new. I've also had some awesome surfers, who are now lifelong friends.

Kayaking, Cooking, Hiking, Rafting, Reading, Juggling, talking about beer and whiskey, making beer, biking, going to burning man.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to be a huge movie buff. Now though, I mainly get down with superhero movies and the occasional documentary.

I try to hit as many concerts as I can, and did EDC, Camp Bisco, and Burning Man this past summer. I love the Crystal Method, Aesop Rock, KMFDM, and Two Galants, among many others.

I like reading. My mother is a librarian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 5 months living in rural Patagonia. Also, I've been a firefighter, a raft guide, and I used to bartend by Capitol Hill in DC, where I'd occasionally make martinis for congressmen and senators.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a pretty spectacular cook, if I do say so myself, and I love teaching others. I also know a fair amount about beer, and I'm a Burner, so if you have questions about Burning Man, don't be afraid to ask.
