COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A newbie as of this writing, couchsurfing for a first time with my nephew in Portland, Maine and met two excellent hosts. Truly a win-win for all concerned.

'Into Thin Air' and 'The Omnivore's Dilemma' are two of the best books I've come across.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been fortunate to visit 56 countries so there have been a fair few amazing things. New Zealand is the best place thus far. Alaska comes second. Flowing lava by night in Hawaii, and a helicopter around Kauai, rank high on the list.
