About Me

My name is David, I'm 26 years old and I'm a very open minded person and of course i love to meet new cultures and people (or i wouldnt be here, right?😜)

I can show you the austrian way of life in my beautiful hometown vienna, i know almost every good place here, it doesn't matter if you want to go to a bar, restaurant, club, museum,... I can show you all the good things :)

One of my most favourite quotes is "I always wonder why birds choose to stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth, then I ask myself the same question"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don´t see this website as an opportunity to just sleep somewhere for free (or to be a free hotel)! I think the fastest way to learn about new cultures etc. is to spend time with people of that culture.

Interests

I´m a really active person! I love to do sports and I also love good food, so these two things keep me in balance, because I love especially unhealthy food like pizza, burger, pasta,... and the sports helps me to stay in shape haha. Of course I also like to hang out with friends and go to club/bars and so on, but sometimes a chilled evening at home with beer, board games, video games, a good movie, ... is really cool.

One of my most positive things is, that I´m very adaptable, I often try new things out, do some new stuff and try to expand my horizon :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I think one of my most favorite movies are the "Harry Potter"-Saga, "Butterfly Effect", „Shawshank Redemption“ and „Departed“.
My favorite books are "It" by Stephen Kings, „1984“ and „Animal farm“ by George Owell, „To Kill A Mockingbird“ and „Fahrenheit 451“.

I‘m an absolute Oasis fan! Champagne Supernova and Don‘t look back in anger are absolutely timeless classics. They‘re both masterpieces

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Roundtrip around Iceland and seeing the northern light
