ABOUT ME

I come from a small family of 4, just one older brother. I love academics, studying, learning, but am always interested in how ideas affect lives on the ground level. Done a bit of travelling - lots of camping growing up, spent some time in Peru, hitch hiked to Vancouver, and plan to be in Asia shortly. I'm eager to see more of Canada, visit some friends out west, and meet some new people!

PHILOSOPHY

"The superficial and the slipshod have ready answers, but those looking this complex life straight in the eye acquire a wealth of perception so composed of delicately balanced contradictions that they dread, or resent, the call to couch any part of it in a bland generalization."

That being said, it's all just about learning how to love.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed around Western Canada. Plan to do local hangouts until I have money to travel again and/or a couch to offer travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed/hitch hiked several places on my way to Vancouver and back.

Reading, especially classics, theology, and philosophy. Running, bit of weight training. Long discussions/idea exchanges with friends. Bonfires and camping. Cooking and eating new things. Playing guitar & bass. Watching the Jets.
