CURRENT MISSION

My sole mission is to free myself of any preconceived missions, predesigned life paths, and presomptuous preachings; this to swim in the ocean of Now, ride the wave of beauty, and ultimately embody the wind of harmony.

ABOUT ME

I have an appetite for life and an inclination towards beauty, towards that moment of greatness that fills your heart with joy and ample gratitude; I live through and with as many paradoxes as possible for somehow I have the feeling that life's biggest win lays in the reconciliation of opposites;
I love sports, I love to travel, I love to read, I love to write, but most of all I love to love and love to live; And you know what they say, there's always and ever second rounds; life leads I serve it.

PHILOSOPHY

You never know what's coming, so live it up lavishly while you can and do not be afraid to lose what you have, thereby being blind to what could be if you'd only be more free and less fearful; and then tell me how you do it;

'there's a sense of urgency we fail to see and a sensuous poetry we fail to be';

the absurdity of life nurtures my revolt, my freedom and my passion, as Camus once said, and I concur.

To live more abundantly, whichever path you choose, would be the bottom line.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a new recruit and have not participated as of yet; Yet as a hospitality club member I have hosted some people in my former place in Ghent.
I will participate by offering a place to stay to those who come my way; most welcome, really, I d be pleased.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived with the proud Ashaninkas for a couple of weeks in the folds of a timeless beauty and a purity and balance of soul that was remarkable. I've woken up a brigand after 5 days and nights of Brazilian fever spoiled with talks and dances and certain that the thirst would not be quenched. I ve looked love in the eye at un unguarded moment in the midst of London busy boisterous life and ever since am drenched in lightness.
