ABOUT ME

I am learning and changing on a daily basis.

Things I believe to be important:
Know your food: This, it turns out is quite the undertaking. THis past year, I have been on a path of trying to buy local and organic. I found the most fulfilling, wholesome work I did was planting and nurturing my garden.
Let´s turn our lawns into gardens friends! For the same amount of effort, irrigation, and $$ you can grow beautiful, loved, fresh organic vegetables... There´s no better gift, than a home-grown winter squash.

Know your water: Have you ever drank glacial spring water right out of the stream? If so, you'll never go back to chlorinated, bottled, corporate owned water. Let's boil instead of polute our planet with more unwanted plastic

Nature: La pachamama! Give thanks to earth, give thanks to our food, give thanks to our health, give thanks to our friends, let´s live sustainably.

Health: Our bodies are the only things in life that we can´t buy a new one. Let´s treat them with the respect they deserve

Love: Love unconditionally! Love our neighbor, love our family, love pachamama, love music, love artistic expression, love love, love our enemy, and tell them! :)

Music: don´t get me started... :) hehe

The spirit: what beauty, what power, what serenity, what knowledge.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently on a mission to seek and create community. My current vision for this following year is to get my hands a piece of land, and create sustainable community. Grow food, host travellers, host workshops, have the right conversations.

We have a finite number of words to speak in our lifetimes. Let's not waist any of them.

I´ve seen a seed germinate into a seedling. To me that´s one of the most amazing things i´ve seen.

I´ve also travelled a good amount of the americas, north and south.
