About Me

I love travel, cycling and cooking. I love experiencing more about life and meeting new people. Even though I'm not good in English, I plan to ride my bike cross the USA from San Francisco to New York, It will take 2 and a half months from February 28th to May 15th this year. It's a big challenge to me that I have never been in the US, but I want to try it, because I know there are many kindness people out there.
"If you want to do something, just do it with no fear, then you will not regret of it." I talked to myself.
I believe I can become a better man in the future after this trip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After I retired from military, I recognize that the most interesting thing in the world is to explore the world. When I travel along with limited budget, I probably need a couch or a bed to sleep for one to few nights. Join the Couchsurfing can help me to find some places to stay, make friends with the hosts, and share everything I knew or I experienced to the other people.

Interests

  • mountain biking

Music, Movies, and Books

I have read a Chinese book names "轉山". It describes a young man who rode a bike form Lijiang city to Lhasa in China, it's about 1,100 miles wandering. This book inspired me to discover this world, and be brave to try anything. "If you want to do something, just do it with no fear, then you will not regret of it."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just finished a trip by walking half the Taiwan island in January, 2018. The trip is nearly 320 miles, and it's a really special experience for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm still learning English, Vietnamese and Japanese.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First, I usually ride my bike to travel, so I've learned some bicycle maintenance skills. If the host's bike was broken, maybe I can help to fix it.
Further, I'm learning 3D-drawing by using Pro-E and Catia. If any host know how to draw a 3D model or need some helps, maybe we can discuss and practice to each other.
Otherwise, I know how to maintain a computer, if the host's computer got some problems, I probably can make it work again.
Indeed, if the host love to eat Chinese food, I will loving to cook dishes of Chinese food to the host.

Countries I’ve Visited

Indonesia, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
