ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Dawid, but many of my friends call me Zachar. I can't say that I'm a traveller, but lately I became obsessed by an idea of taking a solitary long distance bike trip. For now it's just planning, but in 2014 I'm making this dream come true. I feel like I'm still searching for something in my life, some change, and that the trip will help me find it. I want to meet new people, learn about new cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to movies, I can watch everything starring Will Ferrell. The guy is my role model. My guru. My hero. I love him. I'm also a great fan of Napoleon Dynamite, Jurassic Park, and The Matrix. As for books... Well, I don't have any favourite in particular. Basically, I read the books that were adapted, and I enjoyed the adaptations. Music? Alternative. Yes. Arcade Fire, The Black Keys, Kamp!, Julia Marcell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the greatest things I've done so far was translating movies fo The 3rd Transatlantyk Film Festival, particularly the movie Janapar, which inspired me to go on a long distance bike trip.
