About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To become a best-selling writer and join the marines... Or was it "see the world, meet new people"...

PHILOSOPHY

Man is a storm before the calm.

Interests

My main interests are literature and philosophy, in that exact order. The rest is amorphic and relative, depending on what I'm thinking about, writing about or reading about in that exact moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

If it comes to books, it's easier to say, in which I'm not interested: "Diane Steele"-type romantic stories, more recent teenage vampire novels, old communistic "production epics" and diet guide books. Pretty much everything else is in the range of my interest - especially philosophers' works, "new weird" novels, Dostoievsky or the literature of absurd.

Shortly about music - I'm a rock and metal fan, who some time ago got more ecclectic with a slight by now, but also progressive dominating interest in good old blues.

And movies - for some time now I actually prefer TV series above cinema movies; they just give more time and space for the characters to develop, if properly writen, directed and produced. "Rome", "Battlestar: Galactica", "Hose M.D.", "Lie to Me" and many others high quality series are my main cinematic occupation this days.

I still watch movies from time to time, though. A short top of my personal list: ever since I've seen it, I'm totally crazy about the surrealistic "Angelus" by a Polish director Lech Majewski. Also I've really enjoyed pretty much every work of Christopher Nolan, which I've came upon (and I don't mean just the "Dark Knight", but f.e. also his debut, "Following") and liked very much the Swedish "Let the right one in", "Prince Caspian" (however it may sound) and, from my latest discoveries, "Breakfast on Pluto".
