Hey, my name is Cindy and I’m from Guatemala, a Central American country south of Mexico, is home to volcanoes, rainforests and ancient Mayan sites.

My passion is to travel, I love visiting new places, immersing myself into local cultures of life around the world and discovering the unexpected! I love the planning, the anticipation, the journey, be it by plane, train, bus or boat and of course, the actual holiday and finally all the wonderful memories and experiences I bring home that live with me forever.

Besides traveling I’m obsessed with salsa dancing 💃 I’m still in the process of learning and getting better. So if you are down we can go dancing 🥳

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve hiked an active volcano 🌋. A volcano located close to the city of Antigua in Guatemala. The volcán Acatenango overnight hike is popular because of the incredible views of volcán Fuego, which sits right next door to Acatenango and is one the most active volcanos in the world. From your campsite you get a front-row seat to Fuego’s regular eruptions and, if conditions are right, the chance to witness the awesome power of an erupting volcano as it shoots lava bombs and ash into the sky. It was the most difficult but mesmerizing hike I’ve ever done in my life.
