CURRENT MISSION

In general: To meet people, to listen to stories, to tell stories, to share knowledge and experience, to be.
In May and June 2023: I planned, probably, a bit random tour for the 3 weeks in May and June. But, hey, it's my first that-much-long and that-much-needed vacation since a while where I don't have to worry about my exams, my thesis, looking for a job, or whatever else, so I'm just following the route that popped up in my head a couple of weeks ago :) So the route is as follows: Porto-Lisbon-Malaga-Alicante(the plan is to attend 5'nizza concert on my birthday yay)-Tarragona/Barcelona(not sure here yet)-Pisa-Bologna-Verona
I'll probably regret the speed after 1.5 weeks already, but let's see :D

ABOUT ME

Easy-going and quite open-mided person, curious, smiling most of the time, unless too much of my resources are being used unnecessarily. Though if something bothers me, I will let you know. And the same works the other way around. I'll always try my best to listen and jump in or back down, tune it up or down where needed.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have mostly been a surfer and traveler, and/or joining local meet-ups. Hosted once, right before the pandemic (the guy never wrote me a reference, but kept texting on WhatsApp, - please don't be that guy to anyone on CS. It's not a dating platform, and consent is key). Currently, I live in a shared flat, so I can't host much unless we already know each other.
I haven't used the service for a couple of years. This piece of info is just in case my profile looks anyhow suspicious to you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The last two took place in Copenhagen, in 2018 (updating this info in 2023 makes me go "woaaah"). For the last one, I was volunteering at Copenhell festival during my exchange semester in Denmark. My host, an amazing person, was volunteering and attending the festival as well, so it worked out just perfectly!

Paris - 2nd try with the service and pure couchsurfer "path" from a request to actually being hosted. Hey there and thanks a lot!

Berlin - the very 1st try and the very 1st lesson to have back-up options. So still my thanks to that guy for it.
Hence, if you have encountered any similar case, let me know, maybe I'll be able to help/host/give hints.

Books: sci-fi (though not so much as it used to be), psychology, work-related stuff. Lately, I'm more of audiobooks person.
Movies: science-fiction, musicals, comedy, thriller, sitcoms
Music: the good one:) It can start from Sepultura and end with Bach passing by Arctic Monkeys, Alt-J, Glass Animals, followed by Sam Smith, The Ballroom (Vogue) beats, Shakira tunes, swing, Russian punk, and so on, but please don't ask any names.
