ABOUT ME

I'm Dayann but feel free to call me Day. I'm always trying figure out what I want from life. I love immersing myself in culture, exploring architecture, art and music. I absolutely love trying new foods and learning from, sharing and making experiences with new friends, hopefully you! I'm extremely flexible when it comes to traveling since I have been graced with the opportunity to travel at discounts with standby flights. I'll tell you all about it over drinks!

My entire family is Costa Rican so I'm fluent in Spanish.

I still live at my family's place in NJ (half an hour from NYC) so unfortunately I cannot host. But I sure do plan to in the near future! We can, however, meet up for drinks or a show or anything if you happen to be in the city :)

Watched the sunrise on the top of Mt Fuji.
Somehow twisted my body in tiny crevices caving under Budapest.
Stumble upon a mama Green sea turtle make her nest and lay her eggs on the beach in Costa Rica.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

teach me a new recipe and its little secrets, a new rhythm and what it evokes, old traditions and how they are preserved, the name of a flower and where it blooms.

Laughs, fun, food, drinks! I'm all up for going out or staying in, I can provide in great conversation (or keep some peace and quiet if you want). I can help teach you Spanish. I'm potty trained and clean up after myself :)
