Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel and I like to meet other like minded people. Couchsurfing is a great way to do that! I have now been a guest for a few people and all have been great experiences. I’ve appreciated hosts hospitality and their willingness to share their home and knowledge of the place they live.

Interests

I enjoy hiking, 🥾 walking, yoga, meditation, travel (solo and with my child), cooking, reading, and meeting great people. I like an adventure - whether it be a hike in the trails of my hometown, Kodiak, Alaska or an excursion on the other side of the globe.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies that make me laugh are important! I love opera and world/global music. Books that I love include true stories ( autobiographical and biographical) as well as humorous, self help, spiritual and drama.

Teach, Learn, Share

My experiences in my life (yoga, meditation, travel, cooking, Ayurveda, single mom, other experiences particularly of self-help and spiritual nature) have brought me to where /who I am now. Living in and coming from Alaska.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can always share cooking - I like to cook healthy and delicious vegan , vegetarian, Ayurvedic foods. I can also conversations, walking, hiking, my life as an Alaskan and U.S. citizen. I can share yoga - I have taught yoga for many years.
