I'm an undergraduate student in Korea and visit United States as an exchange student this fall semester. Studing abroad becomes a turning point of my life. Many people from different countries and fields inspire me to be open minded and broaden my perspective to see the world. In these days, I'm feeling very grateful to have the opportunity and try to push myself out of my room to experience new things as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sharing economy is a cool thing! It is based on people's trust and collaboration rather than money. For me, it's still surprising that so many people host and visit total strangers and spend really great time together. It's a totally different system from what we usually rely on to get what we want. I want to participate in this new system. Also, I can spend time together with people who live there and experience what the residents really do. It is much more fun than doing typical tourists things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love korean 2000s music and my favorite artist is Park Hyoshin. And I like Happy Ending Romantic Comedy movie because I don't want to struggle thinking of justice, power, politics, philosophy after watching the movie. I like books dealing with where our feelings come from.
