ABOUT ME

We are polite, considerate and thoughtful young people. We appreciate good company but mostly we are spending time with each other at home. No, we're not party animals but couple of times a year we attend several music festivals all around Europe and fill up with positive energy and benefits of social gatherings. It's safe to say we are quite a solitary couple and our home is sacred to us because this is where we draw a line between what we cherish and what the outside world offers. We don't like people very much whether by people we consider the human race in general or their individual representatives. In a word, we don't like most of the people and yes, we believe we are better than the most because we work hard to be. We're not arrogant, just a little misanthropic.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In case you're wondering what 2 misanthropes like us are doing on a social network like CS, we must tell you we do not slaughter our guests or subject them to any physical or emotional terror:) The reason why we participate is a possibility to meet some amazing people that CS provides more than any other means of communication. At least, this is what we believe and offer our hospitality accordingly to the ones who are fed up with mundane, ordinary or simply wrong. In our house, you will find a decent middle-class commodity. Lazar is never available for showing around the city, Dragana might be which would normally depend on her daily obligations, mood or the simple fact if she likes you or not. We are both very busy people with lots of different commitments but we will always find time for good advice about things to see in our city. Needless to say, we expect our guests to be independent enough to find their way around and respect our privacy if we don't engage in conversation. There aren't many rules to obey in our house and we expect our guests to read the information about the couch and get to know them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of the people we have hosted so far were nice and interesting, independent and respectful. I will quote one of the CS members I know: "It's that minority of people that makes you wonder why you even started the project in the first place and drive you up the wall". Surfing on the other hand is never what you expect. It's not always great but it is certainly unusual and different than any other way of travelling we have tried so far.
Overall, an unforgettable experience, being good or bad.

We are interested in contacts with people who like underground arts and culture, who are challenging and interesting to talk to, who are not vain and superficial and oppose to mediocrity of every-day life. We're looking forward to meeting people who will prove the CS thing was a good idea.
