ABOUT ME

I'm divorced, have 3 wonderful kids who live in Australia and stay in regular contact.
I've been working in health and community development for the last 40 years - been lucky to work in some fascinating places, sometimes frustrating but can honestly say never boring or dull. Know quite a bit about SE Asia region, first worked on Thai/Cambodia border 30 years ago. Try to encourage people to read history of the region, not to listen to diatribes from hasbeen journo's and opportunist politicians.
Feel a bit impatient these days with aid organisations who have a problem being honest about what they're really on about.
Hope/think I'm still well grounded.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed some very cool couches back in the day, doing the rounds of music festivals in Europe - way before mobile phones and internet. Music, food, drink, sleep - tough life!
