About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Currently working to learn what I need to know to operate my ideal community building, food producing, industrial ag disrupting farm and CSA.

ABOUT ME

My friends would tell you that I'm interested in very interested and invested in food, agriculture, and cooking. They would tell you that I'm welcoming, and generous. They would tell you that I like to travel, be outdoors, read, and learn.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is about people, relationships, and community. I want to spend my life promoting healthy, sustainable community through growing and producing healthy food that doesn't hurt people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed with a number of people in a number of places and have also hosted. I've had only positive experiences and hope to have many more!

Interests

I'm currently spending most of my time learning to live agriculturally. I'm apprenticing on a small-scale farm and running my own vegetable business with a friend. In the longish-short term, I'm working on developing the skills that will enable me to run my own operation. I hope to engage my community through food and agriculture in a way that makes a stronger, more resilient community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working on farms, I've seen lots of amazing things. Lots of animals giving birth and baby animals of course but just the everyday of being outside has shown me lots of incredible things. This season I've like to watch storms move across the sky as I work and see geese migrating overhead.

One of the best things I've done was to hike across the country of Israel. The hike takes about five days and takes you through all of the different landscapes from mountains to forest, to desert, and both coasts, the med. sea and the kineret or sea of galilee.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Italy, United Kingdom, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
