Music, Movies, and Books
Jazz Pianists: Currently on iTunes I'm listening to Monty Alexander, Billy Taylor, Ray Charles, Duke Ellington, Chick Corea, Jamie Cullum, Thelonius Monk, Dave Brubeck, Herbie Hancock, Bill Evans and Vince Guaraldi. I was fortunate enough to get a lesson from Champian Fulton when I was in New York. Of course, I'll listen to any jazz on any instrument that I can get a hold of: Louis, Ella, Bird, Coltrane, etc.
I've recently been listening to Carlos Santana, The Postal Service, Stars, Dream Theater, Green Day, Simon and Garfunkle, B.B. King, Rajaton, Stevie Wonder, Johnny Cash, Styx, Edith Piaf, Amy Winehouse, Billy Joel and Jerry Lee Louis. Needless to say, I have an eclectic taste of music.
My favorite movies include "La Grande Seduction", "Anchorman", "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", "Fight Club", "Avatar", "Baraka". And of course, I own the BBC productions of "Blue Planet" and "Planet Earth".

So as it turns out, you can find any (finite) sequence of numbers when you search an irrational number, like "pi", or the square root of 2. Moreover, because mathematicians can express a number in different bases (like binary, hexidecimal, etc.) we can express any irrational number as a sequence of letters (that is, A=0, B=1, C=2, ... , Z=25). Suddenly our irrational number becomes a sequence of letters, and all we have to do is start digging around to find the stories of our lives.
