ABOUT ME

We are a young couple looking to host and travel. I am a 25 year old college student and waitress who is interested in environmental science and conservation of the earth. I love doing free activities like hiking, taking photos, walking, and meeting new people. Jim is a 28 year old male who loves electronics, music, and vehicles! He can take you on a tour with his motorcycle or drive you around in his Mini Cooper. We have four cats

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is treat others with respect and hopefully they will respect you, if they don't..forget em'! Live your life doing whatever makes you happy, don't let others judge you, and always make the most of time spent with friends and family because things change quickly and you'll never know if it will be the last time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We can host you if you would like to see Chicago and the Chicagoland area suburbs! We are about an hour away from the downtown area and will show you around if you'd like. We have a few couches and a spare room.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had no couchsurfing experiences! We are eager to host and travel! We are getting married in 2013 and are excited to honeymoon in Europe.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am open to a lot of different books, movies, and music. I like putting myself in other people's shoes and learning about all cultures and ideas from many perspectives angles and views!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is snowboard from the top of the mountain in Vail Colorado all the way to the bottom without falling once. In my eyes--huge accomplishment. Recently, we sunk our kayak after getting knocked over by a manatee in Florida in the middle of the ocean and had to swim inland pulling our stuff.

I am in the process of receiving my degrees in Environmental Science and Geography! I dream big and hope to visit all countries one day! If you'd like we can discuss conservation efforts around the world and possibly travel together to locations where people, plants, and animals need help! I am also very tech savvy and a patient listener!
