ABOUT ME

I am domestic. In the 50's housewife sense of the word. I am happiest when I am hosting a party, taking care of a sick friend, or cleaning the kitchen in heels. This sounds super boring and silly, but I am very fun, I promise. I love to argue (in a non-offensive or derogatory way), and if you can beat me in Scrabble I'll buy you a drink. Or five.

PHILOSOPHY

Lyrics to a Dave Matthews song (I know, I know, how cliche) sum it up: "make the best of what's around." Optimism is one of the few truly fundamental assets a person can have that is the key to happiness, and as long as I can say "There is a solution. There are people I can count on. There are worse things that could happen," I know things will turn out ok.

Food. In a word. More specifically, nutrition, and how to get our culture(s) back to eating the way we were meant to - fresh, local, and healthy. Globalization isn't always the answer, and by buying or growing local you're helping your body, your community, and your environment; a trifecta that used to be tightly interlaced and has been disrupted by a movement that has people eating salty crap out, of plastic, alone. Probably crying. As they should be - what kind of system is that?!
