Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Dea Safira, originally from Indonesia and currently living in Germany . I’m an easygoing and curious person who loves meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and sharing stories over good food or coffee.
I moved to Germany for new experiences and personal growth and so far it’s been an amazing adventure! I enjoy exploring small towns, visiting local markets, and discovering hidden gems that aren’t in the usual travel guides.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m Couchsurfing because I love connecting with people from different cultures and learning about their lives. Traveling is not just about seeing new places, but about sharing stories, experiences, and kindness along the way.
I also enjoy making new friends, discovering hidden local spots, and exchanging ideas about life, books, music, and food. Couchsurfing gives me the chance to experience a place like a local, rather than just a tourist.
For me, it’s about community, trust, and adventure meeting amazing people and creating memories that last longer than just a trip.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a pretty mixed taste in music — I listen to everything from indie and pop to a bit of jazz when I want to relax. Music always depends on my mood: sometimes calm and dreamy, sometimes energetic and fun! 🎧
When it comes to movies, I love stories that make me feel or think — drama, slice of life, or movies with beautiful cinematography. I also enjoy cozy nights watching simple feel-good films or documentaries about culture and travel. 🎬
And for books — I really love reading! 📚 I enjoy novels that explore emotions, human relationships, and self-discovery. Some of my favorites are by authors like Haruki Murakami, Paulo Coelho, and sometimes I enjoy light romance or inspiring non-fiction books too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved from Indonesia to Germany all by myself!
It was both exciting and scary, but it taught me how strong and independent I can be. Living abroad has changed the way I see the world and myself.
