COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I CS'd once in 2008 and had a blast. My and my friend Joanna stayed with a group of guys in Wilmington, NC. They were great hosts and we all had great conversation. Now that we're established in KC and finally have a second bedroom, my husband, Nate, and I are ready to start hosting other surfers and sharing our great city!

Kansas City is really starting to blossom, so one of my favorite things to do is be a tourist in my own city and visit the amazing new shops and restaurants that seem to pop up daily. My favorite outdoor activities are tennis, people watching, strolling, and doing inside activities outside (i.e. board games, dinner parties). My favorite indoor activities are reading, watching British comedies, making things with washi tape & kraft paper, and tweeting.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Moment #1: Chilling out during sunset on the front of a boat. I was listening to super beautiful music and looking out over the sparkling water. Magic.

Moment #2: Seeing the Scottish countryside for the first time. Those people know how to grow some serious vegetation!

Moment #3: Seeing the ocean for the first time. Visited the beaches of Wilmington, NC with my best friend, Joanna. Waded in ocean water for the first time. Got a majestic sunburn. Loved every minute.
